About This Item
London: Athlone Press; University of London, 1962. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Study of the hitherto unexamined subject of collecting autographs, initially in the form of letters. From the earliest known collectors of the 17th and 18th centuries to 1914 when the subject had reached cult like proportions With b/w images. DJ has some sunning to spine. Small tears and nicks to edges. Light foxing to page edges but contents clean and tight. Very good overall.
