The jacket would be Very Good but for fading at the spine.. 8vo (about 8.25 inches tall) . Description: Dust jacket by Jim McMullan; author photo by William Cotton. Octavia Capuzzi Waldo Locke was an Italian-American born in Philadelphia in 1929. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome on a Fulbright Fellowship in 1949-50. She taught art at the Walden School in New York. Besides teaching, she painted and wrote. She wrote short stories ''Portrait of a Family'' and ''The Collection'' as Octavia Capuzzi. This was her only novel. The story draws upon her own background and tells of life in an Italian-American community during World War II.
