Geneva, Switzerland: Editions Ferni, 1977. This beautiful set of four volumes dealing with ancient Egypt is in As New, Fine, unread condition. Each volume is bound in a uniform turquoise pseudo-leather, with elaborate ancient Egyptian designs showing a pharaoh and hieroglyphs on the front panel as well as an illustrated spine. The colors are die-stamped gilt, black and brown. (Click on photo.) Each volume features a sewn-in ribbon bookmark as well as beautifully illustrated color endpapers, as well as black-and-white illustrations throughout. Originally written in French, the volumes are all translated into their first English appearance.
