A truly outstanding work, relating the many influences and factors that led the various parties to the climactic Battle of the Little Big Horn. "Turning to the interpretations of the battle, one book stands out as a must for any collector and is likely the best single book about the campaign, its causes, events and results. It is a balanced account that tries to present all sides of the controversial points which surround nearly every phase. It is dispassionate and impartial, quite a rarity in writing about Custer's Battle."--Tal Luther. Near fine in price-clipped dust jacket with light wear to spine ends, one small closed tear to bottom edge of front panel, and one tiny closed tear to top edge of rear panel. A fine copy. Dust jacket shows light general rubbing, with minor edgewear and slight chipping to top of spine.
