VG-/Good. used hardcover in a dust jacket. jacket is a bit worn about the edges and somewhat scuffed, with a one inch tear at the bottom of the spine and a bit of wear at the extremeties. original cover price of $8.95 is intact on the front flap of the jacket. the spine is a bit sun faded. there is some foxing to the outer edges of the page block. 'released' stamped on front endsheet. pages and binding are clean, straight and tight. there are no marks to the text or other serious flaws.

Synopsis

Chögyam Trungpa (1940–1987)—meditation master, teacher, and artist—founded Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, the first Buddhist-inspired university in North America; the Shambhala Training program; and an international association of meditation centers known as Shambhala International. He is the author of numerous books including Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior , Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism , and The Myth of Freedom .
