Thomas Taylor with brown dust jacket of 2 color heavy laid paper in archival mylar cover. A beautiful reprint of the scarce 1886 1st edition. Addendum laid-in.

3 of the 4 photos reproduced, were not in original edition. Ranger Captain Sul Ross would find the Comanche captive, Cynthia Ann Parker in 1860 after 24 years of life with the Comanche, he brought her to Camp Cooper. She died 4 years later.Her son was Quanah Parker (b. 1845 d. 1911) HOWES D278. TATE 2280.
