Type: Z 64pp. A super copy of this interesting book which includes a DVD containing numerous personal accounts from American, British, Canadian and German veterans in a pouch on the front paste down. Profusely illustrated to each page in a magazine style, the book also has fold out maps and loosely inserted examples of photographic evidence of German defences, assignment orders, log books and recognition leaflets and many other articles/ examples of ephemera relating to the D-day landing. The book is very well preserved with a light bump to one corner only and a small stain mark to the rear end paper. Otherwise fresh and clean. Comes in original slipcase with quite significant rubbing and light bumps to the head and tail of the casing, making it in only good condition. Remains strong and protective. A near fine copy of this well illustrated reference book.
