(UK) Libraray stamps and label to spine,library pocket and due slip to inside back cover, the spine edge to the front cover has cracked and is helded together with clear tape, the cover edges are quite worn, the hinges have been repaired at some point and are creaky, owner's inscripton to the endpaper dated 1901 some notations to some pages, Poor reading copy; no dust jacket. Dark red cloth with embossed decorative devices, chamfered edges to covers, vi, 514pp. The satires are given in the original latin with the English prose translations on the lower half of the page. A decent reading copy, sold as is. (3.0 JM HOQ 102/b2. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾". Ex-Library.

Books are carefully wrapped and shipped in corrugated cardboard cartons. Books are returnable for a full refund if the book is not as described.
