No Place: Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1961. First Edition. Cloth. Good/Good. First edition, so stated. Black cloth in dust jacket. 176 pp. With a section of photo plates in the middle. A history of daguerreotype photography in America, looking at techniques, subject matter, as well as documenting in brief biographical form, 171 photographers. GOOD condition. Moderate fading, scuffing and soiling to the jacket, with moderate to heavy chipping, tearing, creasing and some loss along the jacket extremities. Book heavily faded along the extremities, with some soiling and scuffing. Minor toning to the paper in the interior.
