About This Item

Large Newspaper sheet, folded twice, 4 pp. some creasing, a little staining, minor chips and tears in matgins, normal aging; about very good. This newspaper was founded on January 9, 1847, just before the start of the California gold rush, and ceased publication June 2, 1891. The paper appears to cover a nice mix of local and national issues, including the events surrounding the insurgency in France, with the usual ads.
