Cincinnati, OH: Specialty Publishing Co. Cloth. Good. no date, perhaps circa 1899. Red cloth. 204 pp., plus ads in the rear. With illustrations throughout. A detailed guide to various aspects of running a dairy farm, including lengthy sections on producing butter, cheese, curd, milk and cream, as well as sections devoted to the selecting and care of cows, with much technical information given (both in producing butter, etc. and tending to the cows). GOOD condition. Uneven fading and minor soiling to the covers. A few small areas of spotting and staining. Two small holes in the cloth at the center front hinge, with some fraying and scuffing along the extremities. Owner's stamp and signature present in the interior. Text block toned.
