This book is a copy of Volume IX of a Department of Interior publication on North American Ethnology, Washington, 1893 on Dakota Grammar, Texts, and Ethnography by Riggs. The entire section is a facsimile copy that is used as a textblook to teach the Dakota Language. The book contains grammar and pronunciation lessons, reading text in Dakota and English, and a section on tribal myths and history. A clean very presentable copy.
