Very good. 16mo; pp; 391 pages including an index and followed by a list of the previously issued Lakeside Classics; illustrated with a frontispiece and four additional plates, map; dark blue cloth covered boards, spine lettered in gilt with a gilt top edge. Laid-in is a compliments of the season card from Gaylord Donnelley of The Lakeside Press. Edited by Dale L. Morgan and consists of a personal narrative of the Sioux uprising of 1862 in Minnesota. It was first published in 1863. A personal narrative of the Great Sioux Uprising in Minnesota during the Civil War. Howes M-58.
