Dr. Olsen was a physician in Bangladesh during the Pakistan/Bangladesh War of the early 1970s. This book tells of his childhood, his education, and his decision to practice medicine in East Pakistan. He recounts the developments to medical care he instituted and the increase in care that he achieved. The war between Bangladesh and West Pakistan was brutal and he tells of the story of his survival and his efforts to help the new nation grow and develop. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
