About This Item

Signed. First Edition. Near Fine. History of Dallas Texas. 151 pages of text and 159 pages of photographs of early Dallas from the archives of the Dallas Public Library. The late Mr. Sanders was a controversial Dallas historian. He and this book were sponsored by the Caruth family, one of Dallas' largest landowners. I've never seen this many old photographs of Dallas in one book. The bottom front corner is slightly bumped and the front end papers are stained from laid in newsprint, otherwise excellent. The author has inscribed and signed on the front free end page.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
