A very good copy with minor wear to spine ends and scattered foxing mainly to the edges. Quite a presentable copy. No dust jacket.. xii, 187 pp.; index; map. 24 illus. in color; one in b/w. 8vo. (210 x 140 mm). One of "Black's Popular Series of Colour Books." Title page design by R. S. Austin. One of 3000 copies. Contains some new material not found in earlier Black works. Tyndale's watercolors are quite evocative as can also be seen in his work in the volumes on Wessex, Dorset, and Hardy Country among others. Inman 547.
