About This Item
Edged weapons from Persia to India. Damascus steel was superior, functionally and aesthetically, to everything else. People are still trying to recreate it today. This is a technical book which attempts to be reader friendly. There are numerous beautiful photographs of weapons, from the 17th century on, many of them never before published. There is also a section on gun barrels and other functional items. The book and dust jacket are in fine, like new condition.

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
