Houghton Mifflin, 1959. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good in Very Good DJ. First printing, very good + cloth hardcover shows some shallow open chipping to bottom edges of pages 91-94, in very good + dust jacket (price at flap) that shows touch of rubbing and soil along with light edge wear that includes light wrinkling and couple of tiny closed tears. 406 pages with end paper maps. Still a good looking copy of this "..novel about a Plains Indian tribe which, imprisoned in its dwindling reservation, hears rumors of a powerful religious dance which is to bring back the buffalo and the old way of life.
