Toronto: Harry E. Jarman & Co.. Very Good-. ©1936. Card Covers. 48 p. 17 cm. Sound binding in centre-stapled cardstock covers. A little creases to bottom fore-corner. Some light soil and stains to covers. Water mark to gutter of bottom of some of the pages. A couple of pencil/pen marks. Otherwise, quite clean and unmarked inside, with pages lightly toned. A square dance calling booklet published by Harry E. Jarman & Co. of Toronto. The Cornhuskers of the series title refers to George Wade and His Cornhuskers (Corn Huskers), the most popular Canadian country band of its day. The band was led by caller George Wade in Ontario and Quebec from the mid 1920's to the 1940's. A six-volume series of Canadian square dance books was published by Harry Jarman beginning in 1932 and this is number three in the series.
