Dane Hansen spent his life and amassed his wealth in the small Kansas town of Logan in Phillips County. He was a partner in a General Mercantile in 1905 with his father and later went out on his own into the lumber business, road construction, and the oil business. A strong Republican he was very involved in politics, never as a candidate, but always near the decision makers. In his waining years, he gave the majority of his wealth to Logan, Phillips County and Kansas. A clean very presentable copy.
