Black and white illustrated frontispiece and two other black-and-white illustrations and double page map within the text all drawn by Jeff Conley. Gray coloured boards with white coloured titles to the backstrip. Minor bumping and some fading to the backstrip edges and bumping and rubbing to the book corners. Browning and dust marks to the top text block edges and like age toning to the other text block edges and endpapers. Illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound) by Jeff Conley with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Rubbing and chipping to the dustwrapper corners and the backstrip edges. There are four tears to the top dustwrapper edge, ranging in size from 0.25 "-- 0.75 ". There is one 0.5 " tear to the lower edge of the rear dustwrapper panel. All tears have associated creasing. The dustwrapper panels and edges have become rubbed and show handling marks. A novel set around Sydney Heads, and a more particularly around the hidden reef of Bombora and it's very unpredictable waves. Three very different young people, Podge and his brother Michael meet Kerry, at Crater Camp and set off a series of adventures culminating in vandals vandalising Crater Camp, Podge being kidnapped and Kerry and Michael being capsized off Bombora Reef.
