London: Hutchinson. 1965. First edition, first printing. First edition, first printing. Inscribed by the author. Publisher's original red cloth with gilt titles to the spine in the Edward Mortelmans illustrated dustwrapper. A very bear fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth and gilt fresh. The contents are clean and bright throughout and without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. The top edge of the closed text block is a little dusty. Complete with the lightly creased dustwrapper that remains without fading, loss or tears. Not price-clipped (25s net to the front flap). Inscribed by the author in blue ink on the title page "For / S. Baker / With best wishes / from / Dennis Wheatley". A crime novel featuring the Duc de Richleau and the Modern Musketeers (Richard Eaton, Rex van Ryn and Simon Aron). Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request.
