Tan illustrated front cover, red lettering. 281 pp. Clean, tight, bright. The tournefortia is a large tropical tree, ideally suite to the Southern California climate, that produces small delicate flowers and a kind of fleshy fruit. Poems of women, gambling and booze. Poems full of wit, struggles, perception and simplicity.
