Bliss, Sands & Co, 1897. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1897. No Edition Remarks. 332 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white illustrated plates. Rough-cut pages. Noticeable thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages and plates. Pencil Scribbles to front and rear pastedowns. Moderate cracking to gutters and front hinge causing some looseness to binding and some plates to be detached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with visible splitting and crushing to ends.Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
