New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1923. Cohen (1891-1959) worked as a newspaperman and sold his fiction mainly to The Saturday Evening Post (this collection contains eight stories). He seems to have often had African-Americans as a subject, and wrote in dialect. This is a Very Good Plus to Near Fine copy of the First Edition, lacking a dustjacket. Decorative black cloth binding with yellow lettering and a cover featuring a black couple within medallions. Frontis illustration by J.J. Gould. Clean text; 335 pages.
