The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. A thriller novel by British crime writer Peter Cheyney. It was published in the United States with the alternative title of The Dark Street Murders. It follows on from Dark Duet and The Stars Are Dark and features his recurring head of British counter intelligence Quale as well as the spy Shaun O'Mara. In publisher's original cloth binding, with original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally smart, with small faint stains to the spine and front board. Front hinge is starting, with the webbing showing, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Dust wrapper is bright but chipped to the head and tail of the spine, with splits to the joints and some marks to the rear of the wrap. Very Good
