About This Item
Harcourt, Brace and Co., 1940. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. (1st) Ex-library copy: for bookstore in Syracuse, New York--only sign is 5-line stamp at bottom of first front end paper and plastic coating over dust jacket. DJ glued to covers inside, slightly smaller book, dark blue cloth, 231 lightly browned heavy pages. DJ too short at top and bottom front and back edges, small photo of young Stegner inside back flap. Spine very slightly askew. DJ has nick at spine bottom left, white back creased down center, very slightly soiled. Good, considering it is technically an ex-library.
