New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [1935]. Three vols. in one. Thick 8vo. [4], 270; [4], 272; [4], 267, [1] pp. Orange ribbed publisher’s cloth, black lettering front cover & spine (very slight shelfwear, ever so slight uniform interior toning), w/ d.j. cover art photo of Hammett used for the Thin Man d.j. (minor shelfwear, 1 small closed teat at fore-edge), still NF/VG bright copy, w/ former ownership markings on endpapers. First Grosset omnibus edition, of these three hard-boiled noir classics released together as a movie tie-in with the very popular Van Dyke film starring William Powell & Myrna Loy which at the time was considered one of the 10 best films of 1934, and Grosset employed the Thin Man photo cover art of Hammett in the role.
