Orig. published in 1941 by Crown, this is a contemporaneous reprint from Saalfied, not a modern reprint. Hardcover with blue cloth over boards stamped with a black image of Dave & his plan to front/lettering to spine is in Good condition: clean, binding strong & straight. Pen scribble to rear free endpaper; NO other writing/underlining/highlighting; not ex-lib. Pages heavily tanned & very fragile, commensurate with poor quality wartime paper. Flaws: rear hinge cracked, front one starting. rubbing to extremities, heaviest at both ends of spine & corners. Heavy fading to all edges & spine. NO DJ (missing).
