Hardcover edition, published by Doubleday, 1972. This is the book club edition, Stories include; The Biggest Game, An Elixir For The Emperor, Wasted on The Young, Planetfall, Fifth Commandment, The Vitanuls, The Oldest Glass, Judas, Factsheet Six, and five more - a total of thirteen stories. Many of the stories had been previously published in Analog, New Worlds, and other magazines. Jacket has some rubbing wear and a closed tear of about a 1" long at the top left. There is no writing on the text, no former ownership marks. The binding is tight and square. Jacket has been covered with a clear, removable cover. Gutter code of C26 on page 222 would indicate a printing of June 1972. Not a library discard. The attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory, not a stock photo!
