About This Item

Hutchinson, London, 1971. First Edition (first printing). This copy signed by the author by way of a title-specific bookplate pasted to the front free endpaper. 8vo. 257pp. Red boards lettered in gold at the spine and with a small vignette. Some spotting to the top- and fore edge, and a little light partial toning to the free endpapers as is invariably the case. Contemporary former owner gift inscription inked to the front free endpaper (partially obscured by the signed plate). A very good in non-price-clipped dust wrapper, with a single tiny area of creasing to the head of the spine panel, but absolutely no fading to the publisher's red colouring. The author's first novel.. Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good.
