Two volume set. Half red grain morocco over blue marbled boards with gilt decoration and particulars to spine. Five raised bands; top edge gilt, other deckle; marbled endpapers. Edition de Luxe limited to 1000 copies, of which this is 328. Colored frontispieces with original tissue guard to both volumes. Fold-out replica letter bound in Volume I. Facsimile playbill for Woffington's play The Fair Penitent bound in Volume II. Black-and-white illustrations throughout. Publisher's watermark, three stars and three circles in a cartouche topped by a fleur de lis, to all pages. Wear to head of spine on Volume I. No previous owners' names or other markings.
