Good. hardback. 1st Edition. hardback, octavo, quarter green morocco, with gilt title on red to spine, boards part marbled, bookplate of the Devon & Exeter Institution to the front pastedown together with the bookplate of a subsequent owner laid over, Stamps of the institution to the verso of the title page, blind to the pictorial additional title and one to the reverse of the frontis, the hinges have cracked at the endpapers but the stitching is robust and tight, the plates have been bound at the end, each with the blind stamp of the Institution to the foot. Scattered foxing and browning, foxing to the plates and title, a good copy..
