Bound in original yellow cloth binding with title to the spine in gilt. Binding is square and tight and in excellent condition, free from marks or damage. Inside, the pages are clen and bright with no blemishes or signs of wear past some toning to the pages.

A detective mystery featuring Charmian Daniels, set in Windsor where the tranquil atmosphere of Chapel Close is disrupted when one of its residents goes missing shortly after discovering the body of a young girl near his home. Meanwhile, strange occurrences begin to be reported at the school where the missing resident and his wife worked, and Pix Prescott has been scaring his classmates with stories of 'double people'.
