The 29th and final book in Van Wyck Mason's long-running spy-thriller series featuring G-2's Colonel Hugh North, this time trying to secure a vital communications link in Tangiers on the "hot line" connecting Russia and the U.S. until a maverick, erratic sputnik with an illegal H-bomb warhead can be brought under control.
