New York: Horace Liveright, 1932. First edition, 2nd printing. "INSCRIBED for John Ciardi Sincerely Robinson Jeffers March 3, 1941." Also signed by Ciardi on both pastedowns. Ciardi was an American poet, translator, and etymologist. He also contributed to the Saturday Review as a columnist and long-time poetry editor, and directed the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference in Vermont. Very good with minor wear, lacking dust jacket.
