Publishers' red cloth with black over-checks, gilt titles to spine and illustrated endpapers, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket designed by Kenneth Farnhill. Ownership inscription to ffep in ink; very light foxing to textbock edge. Jacket spine a touch sunned, with a few nicks and two 2cm closed tears at head of spine and associated minor loss top edge. A Very Good copy in like jacket. Murder mystery set at The Dolphin Theatre, featuring Superintendent Alleyn and his team.
