A smart first edition of this detective novel based in a theatre called The Dolphin, from New Zealand mystery writer Ngaio Marsh. First edition. Written by Dame Edith Ngaio Marsh, a New Zealand mystery writer and theatre director. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is very smart with light wear to the extremities. Minor sunning to the spine and the odd small mark to the panels. Minor loss to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the dedication page. Near Fine
