Red, cloth-ciovered boards with blind-stamped rulings, decoration and Publisher's device on the front cover, black lettering to the spine. Foxing on the endpapers, otherwise minor wear only. The dust jacket has wear at the extremities and is price clipped, now protected by a clear, removable cover of archival quality. Scarce with the dust jacket. The author founded the London based Detection Club in 1930, The Club included authors such as Agatha Christie and continues to this day.
