(A-1.58 H, Originally published, 1935) Sturdy, thicker book, shiny black cloth, spine very slightly slanted, tiny light blue spots at top front left, 304 lightly browned pages, light foxing inside covers and adjacent end papers. DJ glossy blue with black bar design at middle edges, dark blue and white lettering. DJ is worn and torn at edges and tips. Fair DJ/Good book.
Synopsis
Wolfe's third published book, and his first of short stories, this collection contains his popular "Only the Dead Know Brooklyn," written in a Brooklyn dialect.
