Doubleday, 1978-05-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Signed. Inscribed, SIGNED, and dated ("May 14-1978", in the year of publication) by Jim Farrell on the front endpaper. The volume is bumped on the spine ends and is lightly shelf rubbed. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a Brodart sleeve, is lightly toned, rubbed, soiled on the spine and there is wrinkling and a crease on the top of the front panel near the spine. On the front flap someone, in ink, has lightly crossed out "first" and written in "second" in the sentence, "In his fifty first book..".
