Norwalk, CT: The Heritage Press. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. c. 1976. Hardcover. A nice printing of Boccaccio's famous 14th century "novells." Original brown decorated cloth publisher's covers with gilt spine lettering encased in a cream-colored slipcase. The Sandglass 4 page pamphlet is loosely laid in. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The slipcase is also in nice condition with no tears or splits (there is a little sunning to the top portion of one side). The Heritage Press imprint indicates that it twas published in 1968; however, the Norwalk place of publication means that it was published sometime between 1976 and 1983.
