A stunning leather bound limited first edition copy of Allen Drury's political novel Decision, which is signed by the author. This is a stunning limited first edition copy of Decision which has been privately printed and signed by Allen Drury on the front free endpaper. Decision is a political novel which follows a newly appointed Supreme Court Justice as he is faced with the most difficult decision of his life. Allen Drury was an American novelist and during World War II he was a reporter in the Senate, closely observing Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman and he won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1960 for his novel Advise and Consent which were written from his experiences in the Senate. There is a beautiful double pages frontispiece painting by Malcolm Liepke. In full decorative morocco binding. Externally, incredibly smart. There is the author's signature to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages. Fine
