Green cloth with black design to front, black title plate/rules with gilt lettering to spine. SIGNED , " Cordially, Harriet T. Kane" to Title page. SCARCE as such-very few SIGNED copies of any of her works are available as of September 2021 AND in such a VG DJ. This copy is NEAR FINE in a VG, unclipped ( no price) Mylar protected DJ. 6th large printing, so stated .Exterior is rich. Lettering is bright. Minimal wear to edges, tips, or spine ends. Top page edges dyed gray. Inside has map EPs in green. There is a small stamp on the FEP from the Burlington Community Library and a small locater tag to the bottom of the DJ spine. These are the only "ex-library " markings. Otherwise unmarked, crisp, and modestly toned. DJ has a couple of small expert tape repairs, one irregular open tear ( about 1/2" by 1/2") on the top front, but minimal other signs of wear. Edited by Erskine Caldwell. Very nice. .
