Black plastic (bakelite) with exposed linen hinges both inside and outside with the paste down end papers being trimmed at the hinge as issued. Embossed metal cross on the front board and with 2 working brass hasp closures on the fore edges of the boards, both being is very good condition. All text block edges are gilt with rounded fore edge corners as issued. Illustrated with 2 full page colour plates printed on heavier paper stock. Small rubs to the fore edge cornrs of the covers and some very minor and spotty foxing present on some pages. An uncommon book of pious devotion to say the least. .
