Handsome and tight first edition of volume #113 in the nifty "TUSAS" (Twayne's United States Authors Series). Boldly signed and inscribed by the author in blue ballpoint on half-title page: "For Marge and Joe, / our good friends, / Linda / 1969." "Joe" is academic and literary critic Joseph J. Waldmeir (1923-2013).
