Scarce first edition of an early work of poetry of Hungarian-born writer, graphic designer and member of Hungarian art circle known as The Eight. Lesznai (1885-1966) was born into a family of landowners, educated in European capitals, lived in exile in Vienna since 1919 and emigrated eventually to the United States in 1939. 8vo, 166pp + 2pp index + 4pp pub list. Original stiff paper, decorated front cover bound-in (but not rear) in contemporary patterned paper over board covers, paper label spine. Covers scuffed, edges moderately worn. Internals near fine. OCLC locates only 9 libraries worldwide with this title.
