Toronto.: The Champlain Society., 1908. This is publication II of the Champlain Society, #247 in a limited edition of 520 copies. "Translated and edited, with a memoir of the author, and additional documents by William F. Ganong, together with a reprint of the original." The "original" text was published in France in 1672. It is translated here, with notes, and also reprinted in the original French, making this the first English and second French edition of Denys's text. According to Sabin 19615 "The country over which M. Denys claimed to exercise jurisdiction under the King of France extended from... the eastern extremity of Nova Scotia to Cape Rosier, at the mouth of Penobscot Bay."
