George G. Harrap, 1936. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1936. First Edition Thus. 282 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white photographic plates. Rough-cut pages. Missing front free endpaper. Moderate staining, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and rear free endpaper. Moderate cracking to gutters and hinges, exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with visible tanning, staining, and scuffing overall. Prominent splitting to joints, exposing binding and fraying cloth. Spine has heavy tanning with prominent splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
