About This Item
New York: Dodd, Mead and Company, 1971. First U.S. . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. The author's second book, this is an apparent U.S. first. NOT ex-library, although the previous owner did affix a protective mylar cover to the jacket with non-archival tape, leading to discoloration to the boards and endpapers, and a similar looking but larger discolored spot on front endpaper. Slight soil to foredge, previous owner's name to front endpaper. Not price clipped, protected jacket is totally intact. A relative rarity.
